Dr. M. Andrew May studied chemistry at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen where he also obtained his Ph.D.. Subsequently he began his education to become a patent attorney. After being submitted to the patent bar he was acitve as a sole practitioner as well as in an IP law firm at Nuremberg before he joined the patent department of Novartis AG in Basle. Thereafter he was with Kuhnen & Wacker Intellectual Property Law Firm for seven years, where he headed the chemistry, pharmaceutical, and life sciences department from the beginning of 2005 until the end of 2010 as an equitiy partner.
Dr. Petra Reiprich
Dr. Petra Reiprich studied biology at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität in Erlangen and obtained her Ph.D. at the Heinrich-Heine-Universität in Düsseldorf. After four years as a research assistant at the Jülich research center, Institute for Neuroscience and Medicine, INM (formerly IME) she began her education to become a patent attorney in the chemistry department of Kuhnen and Wacker Intellectual Property Law Firm in Freising. After being admitted to the patent bar she worked as a sole practitioner and freelance for Kuhnen and Wacker and law firms in the Munich area.
Dr. Fabian Berglechner
Dr. Fabian Berglechner studied chemistry at the Technical University of Munich where he also obtained his Ph.D.. Thereafter he completed his education to become a patent attorney and after successfully passing the exams he worked freelance for a number of IP law firms, for instance for Kuhnen and Wacker Intellectual Property Law Firm in Freising and for Boeters & Lieck patent attorneys in Munich as well as for a corporate firm. He covers all areas of chemistry, in particular biochemistry, genetic engeneering, and organic chemistry.
